JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently hiring for a full-time Outdoor Labor Services position. Duties for this position include tasks associated with arboriculture, horticulture, equipment maintenance, landscaping, driving trucks, tree work, and general outdoor services. This position involves full days working in the field and labor-intensive practices. Pay depends on experience. Opportunities for advancement, growth, and training are available.

JOB TYPE: This is a full-time, in-person position. Position is related to outdoor & conservation services, arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, and sustainability. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (may include but are not limited to):

  • Demonstrate knowledge in and perform aspects of arboriculture and landscaping services, including but not limited to:
    • Proper tree and plant identification
    • Tree pruning & tree care to industry standards
    • Tree removal
    • Tree planting
    • Plant health care (PHC)
  • Perform ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties as needed for specific job assignments related to arboriculture
  • Safely operate and maintain all tools and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, chainsaws, wood chippers, mini-skid steers, aerial lifts, stump grinders, log splitter, blowers, mowers, weedwackers, etc.
  • Work efficiently and safely at each jobsite
  • Demonstrate safe trailer driving/operating techniques

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to follow directions and pay attention to details
  • Demonstrate situational awareness in a fast-paced environment
  • Recognize, respect, and aspire to industry standards & professionalism, and also to Everarbor company standards, professionalism, and care
  • Willingness to learn, be trained, and grow in an arboriculture & tree climbing role
  • All job duties and responsibilities must focus on professionalism, safety, integrity; exhibit communication and engagement with colleagues and customers while fulfilling the overall company environment and experience.

NOT REQUIRED, BUT PREFERRED

  • Ohio Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • ISA Arborist Certification
  • Background in Arboriculture, Tree climbing, Forestry, Horticulture, and/or Landscaping
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of full-time employment
  • 35-40 hours per week
  • Starting pay range: $21.00/hour – $30.00/hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently hiring a Sales Representative position, with both part-time and full-time hours available. This role involves growing awareness and recognition with understanding the “vibe” and aesthetic of the Everarbor brand. All tasks regarding the Sales Representative position will be centered around securing sales accounts with retailers and/or businesses or large order quantities. Position includes working closely and cohesively with Marketing and Graphic Design staff. A successful applicant would have experience in and confidence in securing sales accounts, have strong interpersonal skills, and understand the apparel, design, branding and retail industry.

JOB TYPE: This is a combination in-person/remote/traveling position. Commission-based accounts/number of sales made. Competitive hourly wage available for other potential responsibilities outside of sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  We are currently hiring a Promotions/Outreach position, with both part-time and full-time hours available. This role involves educating customers on all aspects of The Everarbor Company, networking and pursuing outreach opportunities that relate to the brand, setting up and staffing any approved events/conventions/expos, and completing retail transactions in any stores/at outreach events. A successful applicant would be someone who has interpersonal skills, is outgoing, shows a willingness to pursue new opportunities as they relate to the brand, and is able to work independently.

JOB TYPE: This is an in-person position that requires traveling to on-site events. Evening and weekend hours are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (may include but are not limited to):

  • Network by finding outreach/educational opportunities, conventions, conferences, and expos as it relates to the brand and sales numbers; enrollment upon approval
  • Setup/teardown/working outreach events
  • Working with customers and graphic design team on communication and marketing material
  • Working retail hours at stores
  • Assisting with social media posts
  • Assisting with seasonal festival organizing/coordinating
  • Business networking/collaborating/promotion, video production, etc., as it relates to current app/phone/social media platforms

Retail Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:  We are currently hiring for a Retail Associate position, with both part-time and full-time hours available. This role involves performing assistance to and educating customers on all aspects of The Everarbor Company in addition to and in conjunction with completing retail transactions in stores. A successful applicant would be someone who is good at customer service, friendly with our customers, has organizational skills, and is willing to work independently.

JOB TYPE: Must have availability Wednesday through Sunday, especially weekends. This is an in-person position. Must be able to staff and work independently at retail stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (may include but are not limited to):

  • Open and close retail locations
  • Inventory stocking and display maintenance
  • Retail store upkeep, cleaning, and general maintenance
  • Assisting customers on purchases and general questions
  • Promoting the Everarbor brand and brand identity
  • Educating the public and interested parties/customers on the Everarbor brand
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Must be comfortable working with modern POS systems
